  1. I’m not sure what I can say that hasn’t already been said, Patti. I love the laughing smile on the face of the one woman, the curl of smoke, the way she is looking over her shoulder … so much here.
    What a homerun for you!!

    1. I’m feeling bad now that I didn’t! Thank you James for your comment – I tend to shoot more now in B & W, it helps me so much more with framing etc, then I can turn it into colour later if I want to. Strangely enough I have also found the more I shoot in B & W, the more I see in B & W before taking any shots.

  2. This is Street Photography. You captured a wonderful scene, the tattoo, the three diffent characters, the cigarette and the whole scene. I would not suprised to find your image in a magazine. Amazing work, Patti.

    1. Oh I hate it when things like this happen . . . . that awful devilment of uncertainty 😦 I did post it on Instagram and Tumblr, have had a quick look through Flickr and can’t find it. Once I posted a shot on Instagram and it turned up on Tumblr without me but I was able to trace the link. Grrrrr. Anyhow, you have a good day and see you over on Flickr when I get back there!

  4. This is a brilliant image Patti πŸ™‚ You always seem to be right in the middle of things with your camera, I’m envious. I think you would be a great photojournalist. Great work.

    1. Thank you Jane, they were the coolest girls of the day, sitting where they were away from all the razzamatazz of the nearby Pride Parade and of all the shots I took that day, this was one of the last but somehow it felt like the first, and only, shot of the day.
