It seems of late I have either been photographing people or flowers. I wanted to do something unique this week so I took inspiration from a site I follow on Instagram called “@LovelyDeadCrap”. I didn’t just go out to photograph flowers, which are bountiful in my yard right now, I wanted to find something unique to post. Here you find the pentagram center of a rose that has lost it’s petals. Did you know that is what the subject in the image was?
Next I needed to come up with a title. I couldn’t just call it two stars so I began with my language of flowers resources and found that the pink rose represents thankfulness. That just didn’t seem enough. So I went on search for the meaning of stars. I found a great website that reviews the history of stars, which you can find HERE. I read about the meaning of stars and was fascinated with the history and meanings. With that I decided that…..
I’d given you a start…so let’s see what you come up with for a title. Ready, set, go and comment below….

While I didn’t come up with the same song as Stacy, I did think of dancers when I saw this image.
Very nice, Robyn!

Robyn, don’t ask me why, but I see dancers when I look at your image. And with their small size, I then made the leap to one of my favorite songs: Elton John’s “Tiny Dancer.” Of course, since there are two, it would have to be “Tiny Dancers.” So that’s my two cents — amd now I’m going to be humming that song all night 🙂

A beautiful shot Robyn, I’m thinking “Stardust Memories.”

There is always ‘Wish Upon a Star’. I tend to name my photography. Nice photo. I have a few dead plant photos.

I do not title my photography however I couldn’t help but become intrigued by what you have written here. The photograph itself evoked a few thoughts for me –
‘to each end is another beginning’
‘nothing is ever the end’
‘patience’
Those are just a few.
Your photograph is beautiful and it has kept me in a state of awe. Lovely!

Great shot and idea Robyn 🙂 I think I would title it “Everybody is a Star”. While viewing this I thought of the old Sly and the Family Stone tune with that title. Great work.
