The Bellagio Hotel and Casino on the strip in Las Vegas is known for it’s fountains that are choreographed to piped in music. They dance every 20 minutes or so. They have become almost iconographic in that every Tom, Dick, and Harriet has to take a photo with their phone. (Does any body use a phone to talk anymore? I mostly text.) Anyway, I did take a couple or twenty shots of the fountains this night but found this image much more satisfying. Hope you do, too!

    1. Thanks, Patti. As I’ve said before, it’s no problem getting down. It’s getting back up that seems to always give me a problem!

  1. You can take pictures with a phone!!! I didn’t know that. Oh! wait the camera that rings me now and again. Now I get it’s a phone…You live and learn.
    Nice shot Emilio :0)

      1. I’m surprised which one did you rent ? I had the 17-50mm f/2.8 and it was really sharp. The focus was slower and noisier than the Nikon but it was sharp. I think Meho has the same lens and he loves it. You did the right thing instead of buying it and then deciding you don’t like it πŸ™‚

        1. I had the 10-24mm. The camera store said to try it for landscapes. I’m still working on those photos and will post probably next week.

  2. Nice shot. Since I don’t go to Las Vegas unless my job takes me there, I will miss seeing / photographing the dancing fountains. There were some dancing fountains in Aix-en-Provence, France when we were there in 2013. I got some pretty interesting shots of the fountains (I think I titled that blog “Water Bells”).

    1. Well, I don’t know when I’ll get to Aix-en-Provence so I’ll have to post the Bellagio fountains one of these days. I’ll go look for your Water Bells.
