This is an abandoned Spanish style or Mission church that I ran across in my travels.

Joe, this church looks to be in good shape. What a shame that it isn’t still in use! The design is wonderful and you’ve photographed it beautifully. I love that slash of sun light and shadow on the wall. Simply wonderful!

Wonderful, Joe! It’s too bad that such a strong architectural gem goes unused. I’ve seen many churches getting converted into condominiums and in some cases massive private homes, which ends up be a great re-use of the structure.

Thank you Mike 🙂 There are a couple of churches here for sale for the exact reason you mentioned. I would love to be able to buy one and convert it but the prices are just way to high.

I hope so too. It looks like it was just recently abandoned because the building is graffitti free. Thank you and have a great day Pauline 🙂
