That is one shiny car!! So often B&W is thought of as dramatic, moody, mysterious … in this one though, the sun shines through!

Hi, Mike! I wasn’t sure how losing the red of the double decker would work, but all the tones and shadows and light of the photo just cried out for B&W. In the end, I much prefer this version 🙂

Thanks, Joe. Funny, I shot this picture over three years ago, way before I even considered B&W photography. Heck, way before I even knew anything about photography apart from pointing and shooting. I’ve had this photo sitting in my archives for the longest time, in full color. This journey into the realm of B&W continues to bring new life to some of my past photos. As hard as it was to “give up” the wonderful red of the double decker, the conversion was definitely the way to go here. So glad you like it 🙂
