It looks like you were out taking images on some farmland Dan 🙂 These wells always amaze me because they are smack in the middle of nowhere. The wells we use on the farmland and vineyards of the twin forks of Long Island are similar only they are not deep wells being we have a high water table and rely on aquifers for fresh water. Great work.
How tall was this pump, Dan? At first I thought you were lying on the ground 🙂

It was up on a bit of a rise; I was shooting from the road. It was standard height – 3-3.5′ tall.
