Come on, don’t tell me I have to explain the title to you? A Volkswagen Beetle? This and the Volkswagen van held sway as the modes of transportation in the sixties. That and your thumb. And then to find one with flowers growing out of the trunk or boot? (And yes, it was a rear engine car.) So, on a totally different note, today is election day in the States. Or, as we call it at our house, the end of the world as we know it!

Wonderful image Emilio 🙂 Back in the day I had a “Super Beetle” the model with the curved windshield and I loved it. It also had a blower fan for the heater and defroster which the regular beetle didn’t have (talk about luxury, it was a real country club car). Your image brings back great memories for me awesome work. Lets hope its not “the end of the world as we know it” 🙂
