Late afternoon in the neighborhood known as Little Italy. “Authentic” Italian restaurants line either side of the street. My father lunched at one that stated on the menu it was John Gotti’s favorite restaurant.
High praise, indeed!
“Don’t carry a gun. It’s nice to have them close by, but don’t carry them. You might get arrested.”
~John Gotti~

I want to go there!
Enjoying your partnership with your father. You will treasure these forever …

Yes. Thank you. Next time, I’m going to New York and he can process my photos.

Thanks, Lisa. I like it too. Can’t decide on whether the black and white or color is my favorite.

Super shot. I took my son for dinner at Casa Bella (and Coffee and cannoli at Ferrara’s afterwards) on his 18th birthday trip to NYC recently.

A trip to NYC? From where?

London. I’ve been promising him a visit for years. His 18th seemed like a good opportunity. I used to be there quite often for work, but haven’t visited for a while so it was great to be back.

I bet. When I turned 18 I got a used car. That was almost as good as a trip to New York!

So atmospheric – one could almost think they were in Italy and not America

I think we might have to offer Raffaello a guest contributor spot Emilio 🙂 This is a great shot and the last time I was down in Little Italy in NYC was about 2 years ago during the Feast Of San Genarro and the food was memorable. Great shot and processing. Remember “Leave the gun and take the cannoli’s”
