Yup, I think the color image edges out the B&W for me – there’s something about that old, worn red that just captures my imagination and takes me back in time 🙂
Wonderful image Laurie 🙂 It reminds me of the corner gas station when I was growing up (before gas stations became supermarkets). I like both versions of the image but I think you are correct, the color version with its weathered muted red color edges the B&W version out a tiny bit. Great work.
