I cannot wait to visit you and your wife so you can show me all these cool places!
(you do remember inviting me, right?)
Great shot!! Smile to the face!
Well, it brought a smile to my face too, Emilio! Great processing, by the way. Just the right amount of light on the showgirl, and the bright white of the signs makes a wonderful frame and provides a nice tonal contrast. Beyond all that, it’s just a darn fun shot 🙂
I’m starting to enjoy my year long self-appointed challenge of shooting every hotel/casino on the strip. Just when I have only a few more weeks left. So far all were taken during the day and I probably won’t start nighttime shots until after the new year.
Las Vegas at night is a cliche but it will give me a great opportunity to practice with the Fuji. Problem is, security at the hotels do not allow tripods- even on the sidewalks in front of their properties unless you have prior approval. I might have to get creative. And of course there will be light trails, if the traffic ever gets past 5 mph!
Thom nailed it with his comment (you are too young to remember the movie Attack of the 50 foot Woman). Her dress does look a little short for someone that tall Emilio 🙂 All kidding aside its a superb shot, great work.
