I wanted to try to stump Joe with another old car but decided to post an old shack instead. I just loved how the white vignette works on this b & w shot.
Hope you do, too!
“The moonlight shines through the holes in the wall
Everybody there is having a ball
They don’t care that the place looks like a wreck
Down at the place called the Chicken Shack”
Amos Milburn, “Chicken Shack Boogie”

I tried a white vignette on an image earlier today and it just didn’t work. THIS works! Love it!

Thanks, Laurie. Have you eased yourself back into real life yet? Or you still on that sugar rush that is campaigning?

I am sloooowwwly getting back to some sense of normal. I am still in the process of de-campaigning / de-cluttering my house. And actually having time to ride, to shoot, to read … it’s a pretty free feeling!

That white vignette gives a rather nostalgic feel to this image – I like it, Emilio!

Amos who? Sorry, Joe, I don’t think I ever heard of him until looking for a quote to post with the photo. His lyrics seemed to work so I used them. But I’m aware that music did not start with the Beatles. I’ve heard of someone called Sinatra, I think.

I really like the way the white vignette works with this image Emilio. I’m even more impressed you listen to Amos Milburn 🙂 Great work.

Thanks Emilio. Very striking! And now you’ve set me off singing Amos Milburn songs – look out for him featuring on the immortal jukebox before too long! Regards Thom.
