This is a replica of the Chrysler Building. It is about one third the size of the original. It is not part of the New York city skyline in New York City, New York. It is part of the New York-New York city skyline in Las Vegas, Nevada.
They do not make Chrysler automobiles in either building. I do not know why it was ever called the Chrysler Building but I’m sure if you’re really interested there is probably a paragraph or two about it in Wikipedia.
Please visit my personal site for more of my work.

I’ve not seen either the real or the replica, so thanks for the introduction. This Las Vegas you speak of must be quite a town 🙂

Great work, love the sun caught in it, giving the impression that this building is taller than it is.

Thanks, Raewyn. No one would believe it’s only 4′ 5″ right? Ok, it’ actually closer to maybe 8 to 10 stories high. What would that be? 100 feet?

Very cool image of this replica Chrysler building Emilio 🙂 I always thought the Chrysler building in NYC was one of the most beautiful buildings in the skyline. Great work.

Thanks, Joe! There’s a touch of art deco to the top spire. It must have been designed when that style was popular.
