Great photo, Joe! It appears you’ve even caught some errant spider webs as well. Love how you’ve processed it to get the complete shadows behind the pane – really highlights the broken glass. And enjoyed your commentary – especially as it’s directed to Emilio. Love the bantering that goes on in Monochromia 😀

Thank you Ken and Agnes (I don’t know who I am speaking to 🙂 ) I have a XT-1 and an XE-2 and I love both of them but then again I love my full frame Nikon also. For street shooting I like the Fuji’s better and of course the light weight is great for all types of shooting. All things considered I would recommend either of those two models to experienced photographers. I don’t think I would recommend them as a first camera they are a little quirky but the images they produce are awesome.

thank you for your insights, joe.
i am also a fuji x user and enthusiast, and am loving it.
it was just too bad the xt-1 came out so quickly after i bought the x-e2 to add to my x-e1. if i knew, i would have waited. have a good week ahead.

Don’t be too bummed out the X-E2 has the same picture quality of the X-T1 a tad slower focusing and a few less features. They are two wonderful cameras as is the X-E1. The only thing I needed to make the X-E2 feel better to me was the LensMate thumb grip and if you have the X-E1 and X-E2 you only need to buy one because it fits both. They are sold on Amazon but don’t be fooled by cheap imitations, buy the real thing (if you need it). You have a good week also 🙂

A fantastic image Joe, the strong contrast works wonderfully… the dark background brings out the broken glass so nicely. The weathered frames look great also! I like it a lot! 🙂

I think Jorg is very talented! His caricatures are fantastic. Wish there was a way someone (you?) could convince him to do a special b & w drawing of each of us individually to use as an avatar on Monochromia…
