I love everything about this shot, including the inclusion of the two ladies. But it looks like you were lying down on the street to get this angle. Had too much to drinK? Or are you just really short?

I visit Warsaw quite often and have been to the old town many times. It is so colourful I have never thought of processing one of my images from there black and white. This has really inspired me to go back and look at this area of Warsaw again differently.

There is dimension in this picture and that breathes. There is also a « rat view », which is something I really like. Beautiful capture Elina!

I love the narrow cobblestone streets and the old buildings on this image. As usual the angle and perspective on your images is wonderful also. Great job on this image Elina 🙂

Beautiful image, the perspective is fine and sensitive chosen.
Early 80th I was in Warsaw, the old part was very impressive, but what impressed me most is the fact that it was rebuilt, polish craftsmen and engineers made a fantastic job, after the whole City was nearly totaly destroyed during the war.

I agree, they have rebuilt the old town really nicely. And it’s so sad the city was destroyed during World War II. Thank you for your kind words and sharing your thoughts Joerg! Cool to hear you’ve been there! 🙂

I like the atmosphere of such old narrow streets and houses too. It so different compared to modern style streets .. you can feel the history and often i wonder which people lived there hundreds or more years ago.
