One flower at a time, please
however small the face.
Two flowers are one flower
too many, a distraction.
Three flowers in a vase begin
to be a little noisy
Like cocktail conversation,
everybody talking.
A crowd of flowers is a crowd
of flatters (forgive me).
One flower at a time. I want
to hear what it is saying.

Robyn, this is wonderful. Tulips are a favorite flower (love the quote, by the way), and I usually think of them as bright, cheery, and lighthearted. You have shown the serious side of a Tulip as if it is saying “hey, there’s more to me than just beauty”

Such a dynamic shot Robyn, the leaves frame the flower head in such a striking way!
