It had been a long day on the campaign trail. 100 Doors Knocked. A community picnic attended. A late night dinner with the campaign team.
As I walked to my car, many hours after the day had begun, I was struck by the sight of the streetlight shining through this tree.
And it made me breathe deeply, with satisfaction.

Beautiful photo, and a wonderful story Laurie! 🙂

The message I understood here (from nature – the illumination of the tree in a streetlight) is that there is light and good at the end of every day. Sometimes when we sit back in the dark of night and take in the twinkly star light, or light shed from a street lamp, we see the beauty cast on a single object or thought. It was a good day, with good people, and good friendship building. It is good to revel in…

Beautiful image Laurie 🙂 Sometimes I feel guilty that I’m retired and have nothing to do and you are busy all the time (sometimes and the feeling goes away quickly, LOL). Great work.

I am so glad that the feeling goes away quickly, Joe!!
The campaign is at the 100 Day mark (meaning 100 days to go)! I’ve carved out this evening to try to catch up on blogs.
I’ll be checking out your work later on!
