Meet Bailey, whose owner hired me to do portraits of her. We began the shoot outside but as it was in the 90s and Bailey was panting and not wanting to be out, we moved the shoot inside. She has the roam of the house and this bed is one of her favorite spots. She looks out the window and watches squirrels. Bailey had so many expressions and was a little ball of energy – a joy to work with.
If you are wondering, the owner wanted her collar to stay one. She has an electric fence, which keeps her maintained and safe in the back yard. As we were in and out, it was too much of a risk to take it off. I did some editing to remove the collar in other images, but I didn’t care for how it changed the texture of the hair on her chest. A Photoshop expert I am not…

Those eyes!! And your title is perfect 🙂

Oh, how very precious! And the collar being on doesn’t detract at all from the photo. What a fun photo shoot that must have been, Robyn 🙂

Great image and words Robyn 🙂 Beagles are such a cool breed of dog. Mine was a ball of energy also and had a very distinct personality. You captured her inquisitive soft eyes perfectly. Great work.

Very cute, and I have to say the eyes are so expressive and capture your attention that I hadn’t even noticed the collar until I read about it 🙂
