Patti, what is it about nighttime and a little bit of snow that makes even parking lots seem peaceful. At least that’s the word that came to mind when I saw this image.
Laurie, I have my theories . . . . perhaps any car park looks better at night, floating in the dark under the tall stage lights and neon signs etc. Also, this is Colorado and the night time shoppers there are usually chilled and very relaxed, or planning to be anyway. It’s not crazy mum time, speaking as an ex-crazy myself!
I love the look of this image Patti 🙂 The star effect on the lights is great but the slight blur of the gentleman really makes the shot. Being in the circle of light it looks like he is in the process of being “beamed up” to the Starship Enterprise 🙂 This image really works ones imagination, great work.

Thank you Joe! I either wasn’t quick enough to avoid the blur or he was walking more slowly than I thought, I think.
