Angel’s Ladies was a legal brothel just 3 miles north of Beatty Nevada, originally known as Fran’s Star Ranch (also Circle C Ranch and Vickie’s Star Ranch). In 1978 an accident during a promotional stunt on the property resulted in the crash of a twin-engined light aircraft. The wreck was left on the property ever since and used to attract customers from the road. The business was sold for the last time in 2010 for $1.8 million, and has been closed since 2014.
Cool capture and backstory!

Interesting bit of Nevada’s colorful history! Great shot of the aircraft.

Thanks, John. My wife actually saw it and insisted I turn the car around to get a shot. I spent about an hour getting every angle I could think of!

Great image and a great roadside attraction Paul/Emilio (the plane not the brothel) 👍🏻 I’m sure on the outskirts of sin city the girls had no problems getting other employment.

No problem whtsoever as there’s another brothel, still in opertion, about 25 miles away. And, though Vegas is called Sin City, there is no prosititution within the city limits. Legal prostitution, I mean.

Thanks, Timothy. It was supposed to bring more clients to the ranch and I believe it did for awhile. At least to see the wreckage.
