I met John online through WordPress. We followed one another, “liking” and commenting on each other’s work until I felt that I knew him as a friend even though we had never met in person. We fixed that this past Summer when I drove up to Boston. When we met it was as though we had known each other for years. I had a great time being shown around Boston, talking photography, and in general just getting acquainted.

Great street portrait, your accounting and shallow depth of field seems to add “more” about John. Perhaps, because of John’s out of focus face, my imagination fills in so much more.

This is a spectacular image Steven 🙂 I love the shallow depth of field and John’s choice of camera. Awesome work my friend.

Thank you, Joe. So much for the arguments that you can’t have shallow depth field with m4/3.

I never understood that argument Steven. When I had my OMD EM-5 and fast lenses I had no problem achieving shallow DOF.
