I find the New England states in the North East of the US most attractive in the fall months. Our recent trip up to Newport unfortunately turned up soggy and not the best weather for enjoying fall foliage. However, Newport for me, never fails to enthrall no matter what time of the year maybe bar summer when the traffic just gets to me.

It’s a beautiful part of the country; it’s been years since I’ve been to Newport.

I love this shot – it describes my mood when I want to be completely alone in thought – nothingness.

WOW what a wonderful image AJ 🙂 I love the ominous look of the sky and how the white shutters really pop on the homes. Spectacular work.

Thank you Joe. Newport really is an all time favorite destination for me and Julie and we have been there often. There is always something of interest there from the mansions to the beaches no matter what weather.

Thank you, and yes, it is a place we would like to visit sometime. What season would you say is a good time?

Winter’s are tough but beautiful. Autumn around the first two weeks in October are great. Lots of wineries and the views are incredible. Of course summer with all the water sports and boating. 11 lakes two of which are state owned with no housing. Very pristine.
