A walk in the park
Another photo taken at one of my favorite locations, The Bethesda Terrace and Fountain, at Central Park, Manhattan. There is always so much going on amidst nature and architecture. This couple was having a photo shoot done here and I happen to be there ready with my camera. So why not?
This is one of my favourite locations too. Love this shot!!!!

Like Laura, I am struck by the detail. And the arches, of course.
I’ve not heard of this place but will try to get there when I visit in October.
Wonderful image!

Strangely, what got me to the location I shot this was due to the fact that my wife wanted to use the facilities and I happened to me trying to photograph the arches!
Thank you Joe

Joe – is this close to where we will be in October?

I believe this is up around the 84th street entrance to Central Park (I think its somewhere in the 80’s). We are more towards Chelsea the lower street numbers but we can certainly visit here I love the Bethesda Fountain area. Patti lives on the upper east side so It would be a good place to meet. The last time I was here I came in from the west entrance. When I saw the Dakota building I made a right walked through Strawberry Fields and after that Bethesda Terrace was a fairly short walk.

Cool, although you know me, I’ll be happy exploring anything. I am an easy, excited traveler … as long as I don’t have to go to a chain restaurant, I’ll be smiling!

No worries no chain restaurants Laurie 🙂

Joe, you are correct, it’s East of Strawberry Fields and Cherry Hill almost center from the West or East however between 72 and 73 streets.
