Grand Central Station in New York City is a font of photo ops (though I wish tripod use was allowed!). Spending time there with fellow Monochromians Joe Giordano and Patti Fogarty was worlds of fun. And in the midst of all my “oohing” and “aahing,” I spied this couple posing for what I figured was engagement photos. Of course, I just had to get in on the action!

Love this shot Stacy, so much life around the couple! 🙂 I can only imagine how incredible it is there in the Grand Central Station, fingers crossed I’ll get to visit NYC one day.

Wish I could take credit for that beautiful effrect, Laurie, but alas, it was from the light held by the photographer’s assistant 🙂 Thanks!

So who’s that taking their picture? Joe? Or Patti? You know you’re going to have to get all geeky and tell me the settings you used on this. And handheld? Beautifully sharp and focused! I still don’t feel like any of my images are in your league. Or Joe’s!

Not true, Emilio, but I’m blushing nonetheless. Settings? I’ll have to go back and look. Right now I’m on my ipad and have no idea. But, yes, handheld 🙂

I was waiting for you to post this image Stacy I was curious what you saw. Beautiful work I love the way you captured them in another world in the middle all of the chaos. Now I’m curious how the one turned out when you stopped the vendor with the pallet to use as your tripod, LOL. Great work and I can’t wait to do it again 😀

Thanks, Joe! Yes, I’m pretty slow at post-processing. And now I have even more NYC photos to add to the original trip! I’ll be sure to put the “pallet” one near the top of my list 🙂 Hopefully I’ll get alot more up before the next one!
